Orbital TransportOriginally introduced in 1969, and inspired by a painting on the cover of the November, 1959, issue of Popular Mechanics, the Estes Orbital Transport kit featured a futuristic design with a gliding orbiter. The rocket's booster is 23 inches long and .976 inches in diameter. The orbiter is 8.6 inches long and .736 inches in diameter.
