Recovery Harness
The recovery harness connects the sections of rocket and its parachute during descent.
Model rockets usually use an elastic shock cord between the rocket's body tube and nosecone with the parachute attached to the nosecone or to the shock cord near the nosecone.
Larger rockets often use long lengths of
tubular nylon or tubular kevlar to form the recovery harness.
