Eves was 11 years old on July 20, 1969. He's never forgotten the excitement of seeing the TV images of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin as they explored the moon. Eves built his large scale rocket as a tribute to those pioneers and all those who made their mission possible. References: |
